Cowgirl Up!

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MATH Plus One : One Thread

I was randomly putting names of family members into Yahoo's search engine earlier this evening, and I found that the internet at large seems to be pretty interested in a member of my family. Do any of y'all have any famous or legendary (at least in their area) family members or friends?

By the way, heres the URL's to the cool stuff about my family member...

Okay, I'll bite.

My only quasi-famous relative is Paul Revere of the unfortunate oldies band Paul Revere and the Raiders.

No relatives, but I used to work for Joe Sobel, weather man extraordinaire.

If he didn't work for such an evil corporation, I would have worked for him forever.

OK, I am laughing about the Paul Revere and the Raiders relation.

That's a legitimate celeb relative! But still a funny one.

I don't think I have any famous relatives. Just crazy ones. My mother's father and grandfather were bootleggers. Does that count?

Cherokee Nation, baby. Worst. Song. Ever. Nothing like a group of white guys from Idaho singing about the plight of our proud Native American brothers.

We're related, but no blood. Thank goodness.

We're related to the Kennedys. My dad is JFK's third cousin or something weird like that. That is all.

My brother-in-law is famous for being an idiot.

Does that count?

Yes, it counts. Especially because I have one of those brother-in-laws too.
