@Team2ch players

greenspun.com : LUSENET : MAME Action Replay : One Thread

I just noticed after doing a query on the player name "..@Team2ch" that there are 115 first place scores, one zeroed out score and zero entries for any other position (???)

What happens if one of these gets beat? Does it go to "deleted"?

Answers

"If a Team2ch member's score is beaten, the member in question gets fired from the team. -rule 1A

"Nevertheless if beaten member can take back hes/her first place for the game in question inside one week, he is allowed to continue in the team as "novice". -rule 1b

"If a team2ch member should notice any other team2ch score to be dropped into 2nd place, he shall delete the score in question and notice this to other team members" -general overriding rule

Just kidding :)

HAHAAAHAHAHAHAHHHAHA. For this I´ve told that I challenge them on Saint Dragon or XX Mission. No because I´m a perfect player, but because I have chances to beat some "amazing" scores that can do. I haven´t nothing to lose. If someone of them beat these two scores I´ll be very happy to watch a perfectly game. Please, play these two games @team2ch.....

-- INNUENDO (cihadade@bol.com.br), December 18, 2001.

"Team2ch does not accept any challenges in games that are dominated by a strong player who might not be eventually beaten" -rule 2b

"A member shall not ever upload score that is less than 1st place" - rule 2a

"An upload should allways be 10 times higher than previous highest, to eliminate all future competition" -rule 3

can i formed a team that fight to @team2ch for nomber of first places?

-- _sentoo_ (sentoo15@hotmail.com), December 18, 2001.

Just try to beat BBH's amount of first's on your own. I wish you luck ;)

-- Joe Ledesma (JoeyL21988@yahoo.com), December 18, 2001.

No formal rule exist.
The unwritten low which I recognize are...
1 Enjoy.
2 Finish/loop the game.
3 Send better play than others.
and
4 If beaten by member, the game is left for him.
beaten by others,must counterattack.

-- Novice@Team2ch (weavuspert@yahoo.co.jp), December 19, 2001.

"1.Enjoy" It doesn't seem that you enjoyed when made leeching on Strider or played for 6 hours for Shaolin's Road...

-- Kale (angelo.salese@tin.it), December 19, 2001.

Uhhhm, M.A.R.P.er does not seem not to know that you still call "big fish in a little barrel". (^.^)y~~

-- tee (o8333@yahoo.co.jp), December 22, 2001.

Uhhhhm, some MARPer does not seem not to know that you still call "big fish in a little barrel". (^.^)y~~

-- tee (o8333@yahoo.co.jp), December 22, 2001.

Very well done "P"!

-- Novice@Team2ch (weavuspert@yahoo.co.jp), December 23, 2001.

If it was so well done can you explain what the hell he was saying?!!

-- Tenchi (rpeng@usc.edu), December 23, 2001.

"4 If beaten by member, the game is left for him. beaten by others, must counterattack."

Must counterattack? Shouldn't you change that to "Must escape"? I have never seen people delete recordings so fast as Team2ch members once a non-member beats their scores. Usually, within 5 minutes of a Team2ch score having been beaten, the Team2ch member will already have deleted his recording. Nice counterattack...

Cheers, Ben Jos.

-- Ben Jos Walbeehm (walbeehm@walbeehm.com), December 23, 2001.

Sorry,Ben Jos,I think that "Team@ch" can only taunt but not being taunted. How many years do you have?Three, four???

-- "Big Fish" (angelo.salese@tin.it), December 23, 2001.

To Tenchi:"The Big fish in a big barrel" means nothing, don't bother too much...

-- "Big fish" (angelo.salese@tin.it), December 23, 2001.

big fish in a little barrel // person who does not know much of the world // person who is inexperienced in the ways of the world // be ignorant of the (real) world.

: ino nakano kawazu : adage // common saying

-- tee (o8333@yahoo.co.jp), December 23, 2001.

Does the Team increase? Since there is dissatisfaction to MARP with "much" contribution of a poor file, I think that Team2ch was formed. Although, Team2ch member also admits that there is an valuable file in MARP inside.

In my Japanese-English dictionary, this Japanese proverb is translated as follows:

"The frog in the well knows nothing of the great ocean."

"The frog" -> those who are satisfied with poor scores and far from Japanese HIGH-SCOREer "great ocean" -> Japanese true arcade game world

You see ?

-- tohri-sugari no nihon jin (sage@www.2ch.net), December 24, 2001.

"The frog in the well knows nothing of the great ocean."

Let me help clarify what this all really means. Taking a step back and looking at this silliness, I shall redefine the proverb in a more enlightened manner.

"The frog" -> Those who are satisfied with submitting scores on a very limited game-type and a very limited number of games in spite of what seems to be a "flood" of .inp submissions. While I and others respect your great gameplay, you are just as much "the frog" as any of the rest of the players who participate on this site. Which brings me to definition #2...

"great ocean" -> If you were the frog in that well (as you could be considered by my first definition), then I suppose your "great ocean" seems very large. However, the "great ocean" here is not the "Japanese true arcade game world", but the total number of games in existence in which to play and submit scores on. Unless team2ch has plans for submitting on a majority of the games that are offered through MAME, then I shall consider their "ocean" to be quite small in size. It would also be nice to see a more varied genre of games that your "team" excels at.

I am also curious why you do not submit scores using the Twin Galaxies version of MAME. If you are indeed the best at the games you are playing, then wouldn't you want the rest of world to know about it? It seems as though you do in your posts.

Well put, John.

By the way, if it's such a great ocean, you'd think there'd be SOMEBODY capable of getting 35 million+ on Shock Troopers if my gaijin ass can!

Let me say:
1)Frog or fish,it's funny that a gaijin is talking about "Knowing the rest of the world".NUFF SAID
2)Nice information leeching on Strider BTW.I only confirm that teamch is reaching the top of the shit...
3)Learn to play at Atomic Robokid then you can do the "poet"...

The person who vomits dirty language at holy night is neglect. ALSO, 2ch's rules

The fellows who imitate people and are arrogant are also neglect.

What a pity that here:
A)It isn't yet night
B)I do not believe in any religion

So long...

Wait a minute... Team2ch doesn't like arrogant people?

HAAAAAAAAAAAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

Hmm ! I'd some talks with Hisa and I don't think he was arrogant. Reread your own messages before said someone is arrogant. I attack no one, I'm just defending team2ch. Without them, on many games you'll never imagine these scores will be possible.

-- François Daniel (francois-daniel@libertysurf.fr), December 27, 2001.

Francois:How long have you been here at Marp? Two monhts? Not meaning to be rude or something, but before you say something and talks about rereading messages, Do me a favour:Read all the threads on the board about this issue before you say that some guys are not arrogant etc.

I don´t attack anyone either, but don´t act like you did in your mam35tg post Francois, wich means speak before you know ALL the facts.

I have nothing to say about their skills. It´s amasing.

Social human behaviour? less amasing.

QRS, you rule. You took the words right out of my mouth. :)

Anyway, here's the thing I'm wondering about now. P of Team2ch seems to be locked in a leeching battle with Kale over Atomic Robokid, where neither one is finishing the game. Didn't Hisa just say that rule #2 was to finish/loop the game? Tsk tsk...

-- TeamMilky (lordbbh@aol.com), December 28, 2001.

BBH >P of Team2ch seems to be locked in a leeching battle with Kale over Atomic Robokid

leeching battle ? Did you compare the contents of a play truly and seem to be such ? At least I am making an effort which is going to clear. (Although I don't know how he is ;-)) Since surely it has just begun to be in fashion about this game, it is poor and has not cleared. (so JUNK) If it dares capture by the rule, I will "ENJOY" myselves in order to clear and will play.

Please watch warmly until it clears. ;-)

-- P@Team2ch (p_team2ch@mail.goo.ne.jp), December 28, 2001.

Sorry all.
I must say again.
"NO FORMAL RULE WERE DEFINED."
Everything I wrote there are "UNWRITTEN LOW WHICH I RECOGNIZE"
those are only for me.

P.S.
BBH,If you hate 2ch,why not ignore us??
We(at least "I") admit you as the greatest player of here.it is not enough for you?

-- Novice@Team2ch (weavuspert@yahoo.co.jp), December 28, 2001.

P,just as a reminder,I'm not in war with anyone!!!
If you think that now I'm playing that game only because you make me discover it,please check better level 7.I didn't knew what to do there, unless someone was going to show me that.Thanks,really...

And,Francois,I'm not aganist their great ability,I'm aganist the "my shit doesn't smell bad"...

-- Kale (angelo.salese@tin.it), December 28, 2001.

sorry Hisa, I misread. Didn't realize those "rules" you had posted were ones you only set for yourself. And on the contrary, I do *NOT* hate Team2ch. Your scores are amazing! I'm still wanting to get 9,999,990 on Yie-Ar Kung Fu, myself. So don't get me wrong, I have a lot of respect for the scores that Team2ch has put up. It's just the other attitudes I'm not a fan of...

Hi

Just a thing. I'm very sad there was such silly war between the best players on marp. Thats all. Yes, i'm here since few months but its not good for new marp members to see such wars, I think. Only battle on such or such game are good. Don't forgot : video games are created for entertainment and fun, not for wars ;-)

So,Peace be with you

Happy new year

Happy new year to you too Francois!

I wish you all guys a great 2002 with alot of gamebattles and fun!.
