Gossen Scout 3 Light Meter

Hi, has anyone ever heard of / used a Gossen Scout 3 light meter? How are they? I have an M3 with no meter, and just need a basic light meter, no frills...

Thanks Phillip

The Scout is a selenium meter with very wide coverage angle, unimpressive low-light capability. If that's ok, then get the Gossen Pilot II and the optional shoe mount so it'll sit atop your M3. But best of all is the Sekonic L208 Twin-Mate. Also clips into the shoe, but has a sensitive meter with coverage angle equal to a 90mm lens, and a reading-lock button. Put the meter in the shoe, aim it using the 90mm frames, push the button. Then just transfer the reading to the shutter and lens. Very much more accurate than the other types.
