Stir, Dump into angel food pan or bungt pan, Bake at 350 for 40 mins or till tooth pick comes out clean, Thats it, so simple and it works, tastes good too. Love Irene

Sounds delicious. I LOVE fruity desserts. Better than chocolate in my book!

I shared this recipe with a diabetic friend who tried it right away and it was a total failure. She used a 2-step cake mix and a 20oz. can of pineapple. Can you tell us what went wrong for her. Thanks. Barb Fischer

I made the cake with a one-step mix and it is looking beautiful. Guess we solved the problem. Thanks. Barb Fischer

Golly guys, I didn"t know there was a two step angel food cake mix, Mine is one step betty crockers. This reciepe dates way back to the beginning of weight watchers. I bought some frozen strawberrys, about the same size as the pineapple and I am going to see if works with strawberries instead of pineapple. I went to store, and would you believe they were all out of angel food cake mix, and went to another store and there were only two left. I think this reciepe is getting around. Love Irene

Hi Irene,

I baked this cake today, but had to substitute the pineapple for a large can of mandarin oranges. Turned out great! Thanks!
