What was with all the booing from toon after Dunn's goal?

"Keep your bilge off this site" (heh heh heh)

The booing was directed at the ref and, particularly, the linesmen. They were shocking today. Not necessarily biased, just clueless. The team were supported 100% but the officials got stick for a truly shambolic display.

Fortunately the game was relatively good natured (apart from Shearer getting a bit of physical) otherwise it would have been a disaster with this bunch.

Yep,. definitely directed at the ref and linesman who were dreadful. Also slightly towards the Blackburn players who all dived and played dead with startling regularity (we have now played two teams who do that: Bolton and Blackburn, both of whom have British managers....). Actually, because of Weds, I think support for the lads was very good. How many did Blackburn have there? About 160?

My family were saying they said in Sky that we booed the Toon off at HT. What utter bilge. The very loud barracking was designed exclusively for the Referee and his troup of blind jugglers.

Mr. Dunn exercised no control whatsoever over the game, and allowed Blackburn to get away with murder - both fouling and time- wasting. One shocking foul on Shearer - I think it was former Milwall hoodlum, Lucas Neill - was imo a marginal red card tackle. Mr. Dunn was no more than about 5yds away, and it was certainly an obvious yellow card. Result? No card, not even a telling off, and we didn't even get a free kick! Great refereeing.

Pleased to see Shay commenting on how we stayed behind them - at least the players didn't think we were booing them.

Jeemy knackers - everywhere you look, they are referring to us booing the players off.

We know who was being booed, who gives a sh1t if every rag in the world thinks we were booing the players ?

i thought the officials improved dramatically in the second half to 'poor'

The officials couldn't get worse though could they?

Possibly the worst referee I had seen for a long long time, and any reporter who reckons we booed off the team mustn't really be a football fan.

Tugay as I said earlier is the biggest diver I've ever seen. Really didn't realise how big a part of his game diving plays. I suppose it's Turkish mentality. On that note, Muzzy Izzet had a fantastic second half against Leeds. Don't think he can do it every week but he was pretty class.
