Positive thinking

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Country Families : One Thread

I finally churned out a couple of articles recently for my Affirmatives column for the Morrock News Magazine. The most recent one is entitled "Positive Thinking," and deals with inculcating virtue in my two sons against pressure from the world. Might be of interest to some here.

Melissa, I categorized this as Family Life since I didn't see a parenting label. I suppose that's close.

Randal, I had the chance to read a few of these. You are a great writer. You remind me of Phillip Gulley's writing style. I really enjoyed the articles, and I hope I will have time to read some more later!

Thanks for the kind remarks. This expatriate (not mean I'm not patriotic) asks, Who is Phillip Gulley?

He is one of my favorite author's. He writes short 2-4 page stories and observations on family life. He is a so funny, and his stories have a spiritual nature. He wrote books like Front Porch Tales and a few others. I would tell you the titles, but my sister borrowed my books by him and hasn't returned them yet!!!!

I thought the name sounded familiar, but couldn't place it. Heartlight.org publishes some of his front-porch tales.
