Only one week till Christmas vacay! So ready for it, you have no idea.

I bought the Burberry. So afraid it's going to be fake.

You won the auction? Cool. If it's fake, send it back, or re-sell it on Amazon auctions.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

I didn't bid. I just bought it outright. (If the reserve isn't met you can do that.) I think I'll be able to tell if it's fake when I see it, but if I have any doubts I'm going to take it to the Atlanta Burberry store. (Do you know where that is?) I wouldn't resell lit claiming it was real, of course. But I'm sure there are some people who wouldn't mind carrying a fake one. I just couldn't do it. Not one that big.

Well, if it's a god copy, I see no problem with carrying it, so long as you don't tell anyone it's a fake. I mean, how many people in Ohio carry big-ass Burberry bags, anyway?

The store here is at Lenox in Buckhead (where else?).

I just started a new thread at +1. It makes me laugh and laugh.

Yeah, but who wants to pay $185 for a fake bag? Not me.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Ooh, congrats on the bag. I love it.

Mad Mad still sick. I make Vince Chao stay home from work THIS time.

Poor baby. Does she have the flu?

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

I don't think so - just fever, no other symptoms. It's weird, because she had the same thing a few months ago. I no know what wrong with that girl.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

She's probably been sneaking cigarettes and smoking them in the Barbie Dream House. You check that tiny ashtray and see if I'm wrong.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Well, her little body is fighting something, but what?

Poor Mad Mad. Maybe it's Mono?

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

But she's the cutest little sick girl I've ever seen. AB - you check her into Mad Mad hospital and come to Atlanta for New Year's.

L_Led on a Friday!

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Our friend Liz had her baby this morning and I'm going to see her in a little bit and it is a little girl named Isabelle and she is beautiful.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Okay, don't think I'm a weirdo, but y'all are all gonna get another Christmas card from me. We just got Friends and Family discount cards (20% off!!) and I'll send y'all some. Those of you in Atlanta get a Hollister one too.

They're only good till the 24th, so I'll be sending them tomorrow.

T - I'll also send some to your mom.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

The girls should all be home from school by next weekend, correct?

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Ooh! Is their a way you could email me the PDF? I'm going to do all my shopping for the girls tomorrow... I have a J Crew Friends & Family card, if anyone's interested.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

No, it's an actual card. The way gap and JCrew work anyone can print them out, and yes, I would like the JCrew one.

I'm going to send like 5 to your mom. You can just use it for yourself or Chris.

L_Led again. I'm boreeeeeeed. Luckily those Fametracker jags have a lot to say about Winona.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

What are y'all doing? I came home early. Because I'm a cheater!

Also, JoLo is coming tomorrow and I wanted to get a jump on the cleaning.

ALSO, uh... well, there's nothing else.

Probably going shopping tomorrow, terror of terrors. I have bought exactly two presents. One for Mother, one for Kelly. Concert tickets. But that's it.

I have a few ideas of what to get the MOC, but nothing's really striking me.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Just go ahead adn get him the Vespa.

I'm beyond ready to go home. I'm shopping like a crazy woman tomorrow and Sunday.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

The Vespa costs more than any ring I could ever hope to get from him in return. And I ain't got the cash money.

But the idea of him riding one is so good... I wish I could do it. We have no place to keep one, though.

Hmmm. I'm stumped. The MOC is an enigma. I think I went a little overboard buying stuff for Eric, but eh, that's what I do.

"That's what I do!"

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

If he weren't already coming, I'd fly Eric in as a surprise. I could track down and fly in his friend Lance, but then Eric would get mad and he and the MOC would probably break up.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

And we'd all have to spend New Year's Eve with the MOC crying outside the bathroom door begging Eric to forgive him. "But sweet E, I didn't know! I didn't know!"

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

That's exactly what would happen.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Ack! I am about to go and meet all the MOC's office people! They are at a sports bar. Why am I nervous? His favorite person at work is this lady named Latrecia who calls him "baby."

Should be fun.

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Making fun of them never gets old.

What do you think you're getting?

-- Anonymous, December 14, 2001

Al, if you read this - we're going up to Anita and Peter's on Sunday around noon if you and your mom want to come up with us - I'm sure my aunt would be thrilled to see JoLo.
