Will a FD mount lens work on a EF mount on a EOS Canon Rebel X?

Yes ! But only with special Canon EOS->FD converter, which works as Macro ! You can not focus to infinity :o(

Yes, but only with a EOS-FD coverter, there are two versions, one is the macro one mentioned above and you will lose infinity focus, the second has lenses within it and acts as a 1.26X converter, infinity focus is maintained but it will only fit certain lenses, mainly the 'L' series FD lenses of 300MM and above.
