Understanding of photo journalism

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Dirck Halstead : One Thread

Hi,

My name is Melissa Peck and I am fourteen years old, in junior high and am in a photography class. I am trying to understand more about photo journalism. Would you please send me some information as to what photo journalism is, how you take photo journalism pictures, and the type of equipment that is needed. I appreciate it very much.

Sincerely,

Melissa Peck

Look beyond what you see everyday in your neighborhood. illustrate stories only through images. what may seem to you very normal situation could be the most important shot to fit into your story.

Hi, PhotoJournalism is all about telling stories with words and pictures contributing. I've got a couple of workshops at my website www.creatifoto.net you might find useful Regards

Photojournalism is a medium where the picture speaks rather than the pen.you see the picture and you know the story.Thats the beauty of a click of the fingers.
