Well actually I am a member of the "Poe" clan. He wrote based on what his life meant. If you read his poetry you will find that he lived a quite nice life for the most of it. It was not until the very end that his life became a mess. his life affected his writing because his life was his writing. What a tortured soul. I'd hate to be him at the end!!!
