I'm the lucky git who actually lives in the sun (although it does get a tad damp in the winter months here)....a little slice of heaven middle of the Atlantic mate....but to be honest, I'd prefer snow for Christmas!!!

I've heard Stamford Bridge can be nice this time of the year, could get a bit gloomy by 9pm though.

Had wonderful snow in the Lakes last Xmas but this year it's staying at home in front of our new log fire. It's been nice and cold and frosty but I guess the usual south of England dampness is just round the corner. If there is a sudden massive fall of snow in the Alps I may try and get away skiing.

Toying with the idea of going to see the lucky git that lives in the sun. Airfare is pretty pricey though, cheaper to go to paris. But then again why???

I'm jetting back to sunny Bedlington for 3 weeks from the freezing, sleet drenched hell that is Barcelona.

Err.. hang on. What's wrong with this picture?

The weather up here in Edwin's Kingdom has been truly spectacular this week - cold, but with beautiful bright blue skies. Highly therapeutic for SAD buggers like me. If we could only get more weather like this, winter would be a real pleasure.

We're off to St. Lucia for a week in Feb - something I'm already looking forward to.

Any chance of you securing continued internet access, Buff? It's very unnerving knowing every post could sadly be your last. Don't let it happen marra!

I will be booking a last minute all inclusive hol to Antigua in the new year with about a weeks notice, after a job near Holy Island which will finance it. Last time I did it four years back I got a £1400 holiday for £550.

You can imagine the other guests that I told this to who paid full whack werent very happy..

Geordie,

Still no sign of snow here in the Alps - far too bloody nithering. So I'm off to Valencia for three weeks.
