According to the sun web site, their excusive is that Jenas is about to sign and will be at SJP today for a medical. Says we also want Titus Bramble for £10M.!!!!!!!!!!

Are either of these true I wonder? nufc.com rubbished the Jenas story and they are usually right and Bramble would surely be wanted by any number of clubs before us. More importantly, have we got the £14M both would cost.

The Jenas thing sounds the most likely but he's a young slip of a lad. Is he really ready to slot in the space where Rob Lee is currently?

Bramble is fucking shit this year.....last year he was the new Sol Campbell, this year I wouldn't pay 10p for him! if this is true then it'd be so like NUFC to fuck up on a useless player.....

Full of the seasons good will then Gav? Bramble is a decent player, remember class is permanent, form is temporary. He's still really young. However IMO he is not worth £10M and I doubt very much we'll be buying another defender.

Lynda, that'd be fine if was class....he's not, he had a couple of good games last year and got hyped up to world class.....he's vastly over-rated....in my opinion this'd be a fuck up of Marcelino proportions.....

Bobby, Bellamy was a totally different proposition.....he'd proven his class for a number of years at Norwich before his form disappeared at Cov...TITus is a 3 game wonder.....

I haven't really got a view on Bramble although we shouldn't be buying a young CH when we have some ace ones of our own coming through. Any defensive addition should be the Commanding Senior Centre Half type.

As for Jenas, we should buy him if we possibly can.

swift - I saw Jenas captain England U-19's in a couple of games recently on telly - Michael Chopra also played.
Jenas looked a good all-round midfielder, and in fact was the game's dominant player in the first game I watched.
