What is your favorite .410 memory?

What was your best shot? Biggest game took? and absolute most fun you can remember with your .410?

I remember my granddad had an old double barrel rabbit eared .410. He thought that hand me down shot gun could take on anything. (If it hadn't been stolen right after his death I too might have felt that way) I remember going camping and and granddad telling me not to worry "old Betsy" could take on Rhinos. Hmmm Never saw a rhino on our camping trips but I sure did anticipate them. :o)

Hope ya'll are ready for Christmas. And that all of you have a great one.

It was my Dad who made the best .410 shot I ever saw. He got a rabbit and a duck with 1 shot!

We had the old storm windows w/ a lift up vent slot in them in our house. My dad used to shoot rabbits right out of the kitchen window thru that slot. Made my Mom mad as heck. He had a bunny all lined up and as he pulled the trigger..............one of my ducks came waddling from around the milk house. 1 piece of shot thru the neck got my duck. He got the rabbit too. Mom was REALLY mad then.

Yeah the real story doesn't sound as exciting as "A RABBIT AND A DUCK WITH 1 SHOT" But we ribbed my old man about that till the day he died!

Well mine isn't nearly as good.... All I did was blast a four and a half foot moccasin in half from about twenty feet. Actually the gun was given to me in trade and then the fella wanted to borrow it for squirrel hunting with his son and I haven't seen it in a year. Guess I better call him! I have better 12 gauge memories....Merry Christmas to all of you, folks!
