Oh y'all, Meg password protected her forum. Ha.

My favorite part was when she said her social life was "beautiful."

Wait - Meg is back in town?

I imagine the password is "ferret."

We put up our tree and decorated yesterday, and I made a lovely wreath. I'm more excited about y'all's visit than I am about Christmas. Also, what kind of food would you like? Black eyed peas and cabbaga (and corned beef) on New Year's Day (of coruse), but what else? Crawfish fettucinni?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Oh yay T! Make me some crawfish fettucini! I would love you forever and ever.

Did you read the weekend thread? I guess Sara Astruc was watching the page and she emailed AB and Al about it. You have to read it. You'll die.

I'm so excited too. Very, very.

Oh, I imagine we'll get into town around 5 p.m. (if not earlier) on Sunday the 30th, so I think we should all have dinner or something.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Would you like Sunday to be crawfish fettuccini night? Al, would that work for you and the MOC? That way, y'all could roll on into town, freshen up, and get right down to the business of visiting and eating and drinking.

Joh, I'm doing my best to replicate a visit to Miss Bonnie's for you.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Ah, you don't have to replicate. A visit to T's is just as nice.

That sounds perfect for Sunday.

Have all schedule discussions with the MOC. I am just along for the ride for this holiday season. Anything and everything works for me. Seriously.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

And I'm sure Chris will want to get it all in the spreadsheet so he's able to cross-reference and double check.

T & Al - how far apart do y'all live?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

He can spreadsheet it until he is blue in the face, for all I care, and then tattoo it on his ass for the world to see.

He is LIVING for that weekend, so I think I am going to disinvite my high school friends. It will just make things easier to have less people to worry about.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

We live about five miles apart, if that. It's about a 12-minute drive.

I, too, am living for that weekend - I'm more excited about it than I am about Christmas. And after a week with Edna and Eugene, god love them, I'll be extra ready.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Al, don't do that! I, for one, would like to meet your high school friends. I think the more the merrier. Eric and Chris can go huddle in the cold if they need private time. Seriously.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

FOR REAL. A lot of this weekend is the EP/MOC lovefest, but other people will be around, too. The Cobras must unite!

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

How much does it make me laugh that Melissa is getting email notification on that Texas thread? Ha.

Burritos are good for myself, they are.

The weather has turned nasty. It was a rainy morning - we didn't even wake up until 8:40 because it was so dark outside - and not it is a rainy, cold day.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

It's finally cold here too, which I don't mind so much since it's December 10th and it hasn't even snowed once. Not once! And it's hard to feel Christmas-y when it's balmy out. (I've gotten used to cold holidays as scary as that is.)

T - will Courtney and the other girls be in ATL for New Year's?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

I think that Courtney, Caroline, Kristie, etc. will all be in Atlanta. Kristie just called me, actually - she's moving to Tampa the second week of January to head up membership for their new aquarium.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

She's movign to Tampa?! Is she still dating that guy whose name I'm blanking on?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Wade! She is still dating Wade, yes. She accepted the job in Tampa this past Thursday - she's pretty excited. Not about Tampa (she went to middle/some high school there, but none of her friends live there any more.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

What's Wade going to do?

Oh, and tell Kathleen that there IS a Kathleen Lacey Tee in Spring.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

There IS? And her name will be on the shirt, or the tag, at least? I'll surprise her on her birthday in late March.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

No, it'll just be in the magazine and catalog. And online.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Poor Wade will be sad, all alone in his Wade-dom.

Do y'all ever read Robyn Ward's journal? http://www.geocities.com/naonea/dec10.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Yeah, I'm on her notify.

Isn't that horrible? I want to email her but I don't know what to say.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Mike - are you getting everything you wanted for Hannukah? Are you going to able to blend spending time with your family and Sima's family?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Mike, aren't you the youngest in your family? Does that mean that you get to ask the questions?

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

Did y'all read how that Smerch guy was looking for a mathematics forum? Cracks me up.

-- Anonymous, December 10, 2001

AB! Why did you have to mention that you knocked her VISOR off because mayn did that make me start giggling and now I'm the evil person who laughs when old people get run over.
