yeah, the onion once said that the sca took over russia...of course that is not true. it just exaggerates stuff. which is why i still believe in the goodness of harry potter. life is too boring if you merely try to act your age and not allow your mind to imagine. the mind must be able to jump into different worlds of wonder (like anime). without that imagination and wishful thinking, life is just not worth living. i'm not saying everyone should fantasize about being harry potter, but everyone should have some kind of fantasy, some kind of dream that they can think about. that is what makes us sane human beings. life is good.

satire is good. but focusing on more postive aspects of life helps you to enjoy it more. that has always been my philosophy, well one of them at least. i have tons. they seem to help people, which is good. so they can't be all that bad.
