Gary Kelly

Gary Kelly, Leeds right back apparently is prepared to move away from Elland Road in order to get regular first team football and cement his place in Ireland's squad.

He is getting on, but IMHO is better at the moment than our right backs. Griffin has potential but hasn't really shown it, as well as being injury prone.

I think it would be a shrewd signing if we could get him, although Leeds would probably be willing to hold on to him.

Hhmm, not so sure Paul. He's a canny player, but also injury prone.

On balance, I'd say no - we don't need any more treatment room candidates.

I agree, Clarky - if there is anything to be said for our defence, it's that it is quite young. For me, as he loses his CH instincts, Hughesie is getting more confident in the RB role and if we are going to bite the bullet and get a new RB, I'd prefer someone younger and fitter than Kelly.

The previous posters missed the point Paul. It's 'aging'.
