The x flash terminal on the back of my M3 doesn't work. (The bulb terminal does work.) Is this a big repair job? Will it cost a bundle?

Have you tried replacing the little adapter? Mine had gone bad but the X terminal underneath was still fine. Replaced the little $5.00 adpater and now mine works again.

It may not, the X sync on my M4-2 is not working but alas the M post does (and to the hot shoe as well), Don Goldberg quoted me $100 for the repair on this alone or having it Cla'd would see that it worked as well for around $300. I'm thinking of doing the latter.

Hello, Like Andrew, I found the fault to be in the adaptor and not in the camera,changing this cured the problem.

My adapter works fine in the bulb socket, but not in the x socket.
