Thanks Little Bit! I've been missing you on the other forums, I always liked you!! Now I know where you went! I will definitely be joining you all and will try my best to be nice! Homesteading around here is great. After almost 3 years of being out of commission from my back, I really enjoyed my garden this past summer. I canned lots and we are enjoying that now!! We've already planned to extend the garden for next year and are working on that. We are also increasing our small orchard. My hens are doing fine, although not laying as much since the days are shorter! I'm planning to get some more chicks in the spring. I don't do roosters, had a bad experience with one mean one! I had considered getting a couple of goats for milk but I'm really concerned with my back problems of taking on any more animal responsibilities. Any suggestions? I really would love to have some. Seed catalogs, as you said are coming and I'm really getting excited about gardening again. Lots of planning here!! God is so good!!
