I just wish I was in my twenties again having been brought up with computers.They hadn't invented handheld calculators when I was in college let alone Palm Pilots.It seems alot of the Uk has been brought down with the BadTrans virus & also Goner.I got the Bad Trans virus through an unopened e-mail.It was supposed to be non- destructive & deletable but not that easily in the version I was sent.I've spent best part of week trying to clean it up & still not sure whether things are back.What the dickens is the function of KRNL386.EXE & is Microsoft Explorer 6 really any good?I tried installing it with disasterous effects.

Am I the only one here who shudders when mysterious things like DNS error pops up.

My answer is to use Outlook through a proxy; have a good firewall, never use the latest from MS, use Symantec, etc. Nothing works completely [except not using the latest from MS], but hackers chose the weakest target. ;o)
