No, it is just that people are using fake e-mails, but they are forgetting to mark the "NO" box when it asks if they want the responses e-mailed to them.

When you post PLEASE check the NO box if you are using a fake e-mail.

We like you!! just the fake e-mail addresses do not.

ok Melissa help me out here. I've never seen a a box to select 'no' in. I thought maybe it was because I use Netscape but I just tried Explorer and still don't see one. Where is it at?

Dave, when you post a new question which opens a new thread, that is where the "notify me by email" option is found.

When you post a new thread, you MUST check NO on this option if you are using a fake addie otherwise everyone who answers you will get a failure notice.

Star a new thread, you will see it.

I am sorry that I may still be contributing to the problem, but it was an accident. I thought that when I set a cookie on my browser for my e-mail, it would save all the information. but it doesn't save the "NO" part, you must click on NO each time, it is not saved when you set a cookie. SORRY! I know I didn't do this on several questions and I apologize.

Thanks Laura. I've rarely started a thread so I guess that's why I never noticed. Thanks for clearing up that mystery.
