From Chronic ad for ring tone downloads, ring 0906 406 2001 then enter 40249 for Blaydon Races.

£1-50 per min to ring 0906 nos. Mobiles might be higher rate so they recommend using your home phone, but not sure how you get the ring tone to your mobile if you do that. Bit vague cos I haven't used it myself.

jonno speak - lets find the answer in the style of radio 4's "just who is your father?" so i'm reginald pertwee and you are the panel. lets start with the round 1 question, just what is your mobile phone called? do you press it for sounds, or does it make all the noises itself (audience roars with merry laughter) quickly onto round 2, is it from finland or japan? (puzzled sounds all round) and finally the bonus question is it a fip top open it anywhere ones or a hold in one hand vibrating one? answers on a postcard please!

As the Sydney clique will confirm, I'm a bit of a Luddite as far as mobile phones are concerned. However, I do believe that you can somehow acquire a Blaydon Races ring from Dave Bailey of the Yorkshire supporters club on payment of a charitable donation which goes to the Bradford Burns Unit. No idea how you physically acquire the ring tone, but I think there are instructions on the nufc.com website (on the right hand side somewhere). Send my regards to Dave if you end up having to contact him.
