Worth staying up for

To witness the sublime bit o skill by Berkgamp to set up the third goal for Fred the Red, pure magic, plus the instinctive football and sharp football brain from Henry was a joy to behold . BTW still got access but expecting final roll out very shortly, ironic thing is that the person who will pull the plug is a nice young lady on the IT Contract Team who lives at Kingston Park, nice final kick in the face for me.

Gotta agree....Berkgamp setting up that 3rd was fantastic...not certain I agree about Henry, fast and class but he's got a right whingey face on him....type of face you'd love to smack...

LOL, Gav. I feel the same way about Hasselbaink.

Well done for correctly spotting my 2nd least favourite player Dougs ;))

Henry may just be the best player in the PL if not Europe. He gets overlooked for some reason, but he is a far better player than his French teammate Zidane.

I think Viera is the best player in the PL. Wish we was in our team>

Viera is probably the best player in his position in World football, Lynda. Actually, Edgar Davids in b&w would do for me.

Got to agree with Buff's main point - the piece of skill displayed by Bergkamp to create that goal was as good as I've ever seen - utterly brilliant.

Buff - any chance you will be able to get internet access to enable you to stay on here? Believe me, you would be very badly missed. See what you can do - hopefully, you will also miss us.

Er thought Davids already played in black& white?

-- Anonymous, December 05, 2001

No, he plays in white and black! Wasn't the Juve strip nicked off of Notts County?

Really pleased we're about to play Arsenal - just as they are hitting form (!)

I'll be very interested to see what happens against Arsenal, it's a good benchmark to test ourselves against.

Lessee....Arsenal away.....London....televised on Sky....

We haven't got a chance. I think I'd choose another benchmark. ;-)

Chelsea away, televised on ITV Sport?? I see they lost their undefeated home record last night. Could we, could we just lose wor Lahndaan away one next week? You know it makes sense.

They lost to Charlton....
