Hi all,

I am new to photography. Recently, I see the advertisement of new Canon carmera EOS-66. Anyone use this carmera before? Any recommandation about this carmera!!

I read some web pages said it sell at S$360 only. In Hong Kong, it sells at $23xx but bundle with the a carmera bag, rack and a course.

Regards, Eddie

This is the Asian market name for the EOS 3000N. (small camera; all silver. Not marketed in the USA.) It's the cheapest camera with interchangeable lenses that Canon currently sells.

As for a recommendation, I'm sure it's a perfectly fine beginner camera, though somewhat limiting if you want to get into more advanced photography.

However, keep in mind that the quality of the lens is far more important to a photo than the camera. So don't get the cheap bundled zoom lens with the camera if you're at all concerned about picture quality, assuming you can buy the body individually. (in Canada I believe the 3000N is sold only as a kit with the lens, but I may be wrong about that)

If you're a beginner you should probably have a look at this page for advice on buying a camera:
