Bloody hell, Shearer's still pretty good. He brought that down off his ... sh1t, what's he flaggin for ? Better go and have a word I suppose.

Peeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep

Right, what's the problem ?

What's the fekkin problem ? What's the fekkin problem ? Did you not see that ? He just about had his effin head off. I distinctly saw him stuff the guy's adams apple down his jock and I'm sure he's eaten his tongue. The dirty tawt should be made an example of. Come on Andy. Show the cheatin bastad what yer made of.

Hang on. Hang on. Are you absolutely sure about this ?

Well, 87½ %, but so what ? The bas has been asking for it for years. My journo mate's got this piece all set up, and all he needs now is for Shearer to get what's coming to him on the pitch and he'll take care of him off the pitch. So come on Andy, get the bastad off, you'll never get a better chance.

I'm a bit worried about this. What if the slimy sh1t appeals ? You know what a mealy mouthed bastad he is. Be just like him to slither out from under and leave us looking like a right pair of dorks. Still, it would be great to stick it up him, and it might put these thick Geordie bastads' noses out of joint. Might take a bit weight off Sir Alec as well. OK. I'm convinced. I'm going for it.

I knew it. I fukkin knew it.

At least he showed the mettle to admit his mistake. Something saving in that surely?

Stupidity?

Gorrit in one Andy.

I was just wondering why Mr D'Urso allowed himself to be suckered into the thing in the first place, but granted, he's come out of it quite impressively. Might even have a calming effect on him in future, cos he definitely seems to have a red card fixation.

The last moron to send him off for nothing got dropped to the Nationwide, since they now get paid for their mistakes it was worth his while bowing to pressure and righting a wrong or he may have found his contract not being renewed.

refs have been making mistakes for 100 years.

shearer gets sent off and its a frickin conspiracy involving the london press the premiership and some satanic cult.

we must change the rules of football and implement play by play video refereeing.

er, calm down people, its just the way it is

Yes referees have been making mistakes for a long time, but this one was a very bad one. Incidents like Ince's push on Quinn, there was clearly contact, it's a bit of a grey area.

With Shearer though, there was clearly nowt wrong with anything he did in that incident which makes it astonishing to see a red card.

The ironic thing is, if he'd been booked, he wouldn't have been able to appeal, so the red card is better in some ways.
