Boy, does that head give me wood!

It indeed looks really cool, but $1300? That seems over the top, even for Arca-Swiss.

Robert White sells it for a little cheaper for non-Americans. The head probably won't make it to Canada because its a high end, low demand product. Only a few would probably get sold a year. I can't see the dame thing in person. I might have to go to a camera show in Germany or NYC. If anyone actually gets to use it please tell me about it. It will probably be available in the speing.

I spoke with martin Vogt at Arca-Swiss about the C1 late in the spring of 2001. Arca knows it will be a very low demand item and will really be useful or practicalonly for certain limited purposes. i suspect that the head is mainly designed for photographers workingin the virtualk reality or Quicktimeareas.
If you think the C1 is expensive, try pricing geared heads for for movie cameras.
