Hey, great to see so many of the regulars at the new watering hole. Too bad the script kiddies made WWW untenable. Unc, you have my sympathy and admiration.

I'm looking for some travel advice about St Augustine, FL, and Savannah, GA. Me and the Mrs, the kids and the parents-in-law are spending a couple of weeks over Christmas and New Year in the Great Satan, I mean US of A. We're not gonna let some fundamentalist sh*theads alter our travel plans.

We're spending the first week in the FT Myers area (which I've been to a couple of times before), but we're splitting the second week between St Augustine and Savannah. I'd appreciate any tips/info etc about these 2 cities. We've already got the accommodation booked (a hotel on the beach in St Augustine Beach and an apartment in the historic district of Savannah), so I'm looking for your recommendations about what to do in those fair burghs. Keep in mind that my travel party ranges in age from 1.5 years to 74 years.
