I bought a copy of Zone Alarm at CompUSA and upgraded it online on Saturday. So far, with some tinkering, I've been able to run all of my programs with it. For the most part, it just runs quietly in the back ground, except when I access this board and EZ, then I get lots of pings from these folks:

Yes I have heard of McLeodUSA. They are a telecommunications firm and one of their products is DSL - so someone using them for DSL probably has a virus/trojan. I have someone on my DSL network that has a trojan and is constantly pinging me. Some day I will get tired of it and complain.

meemer, we use Zone alarm, so far the free version, BUT will be buying a copy soon...we had PC cilliun, (the free version for 2 yrs.).and really liked it, they put a "bug" in it to make it a Pain in the rear...you could not close the browser, you'd get an error, and a flash once we BOUGHT it, that all ended.... it is great, and updates and scans and you don't even know it is there!
