Listening to the Leeds webcast right now. Their commentators mentioned a rumour going around this morning that Newcastle was on the verge of signing McPhail but then he got injured.

That's typical isn't it? We're about to sign a player and he gets injured! He's decent enough and still young enough to have potential but I can't help feeling that if he was any good Leeds wouldn't sell him.

Hey Bud, just back on the bbs, so didn't see your comment. I wasn't ignoring you! When we aren't playing, but other teams are, I often put the webcast on while I putter about the apartment. Though I do particularly like Leeds webcasts as their announcers are a riot. They call a spade a spade and you know when Leeds aren't playing well because they go off on wild tangents to keep themselves entertained. They're also supporters and get themselves worked up over things the same as the punters in the stands.

Not true as far as I know the only rumour I know of involves Dyer, cash & Woodgate. All depends on some trial at Hull, I can't believe Woody would go to Hull before us.

I saw Robbie Fowler on Friday at work & then almost crashed into his parents driving an old Ferarri with an xxLFC number plate. I had the last laugh as I passed them broken down outside Wetherby looking under the bonnet.
