This is the worst ManUre performance I can remember seeing. IMHO, Taggart has lost the plot entirely (so they'll probably win in the end). He's playing a back four and midfield of:
Brown Blanc Keene Neville Beckham Veron Scholes Fortune
I can see why he's brought Keene back but that is leaving m/f very exposed and they are looking as bad as wor lot in there. I dunno who is on the bench, but I'd be tempted to move Keene forward (or Butt if he's on the bench) instead of Fortune. If Splskjaer is on the bench, they could do worse than play him in m/f. Whatever, Taggart has to change it - just like YBR often has to. Methinks Taggart will at HT, whereas YBR would wait. We'll see!

We've got that game on tv here in Oz too and you're dead right, they look very ordinary. Their decline all seems to stem from them selling Stam - seems a shocking mistake on the face of things, but I wonder if Fergie suspected that Stam would test positive sooner or later? Often wondered if Keane would ever move back into the defence - don't think he should be doing that yet except in emergencies, but he's got all the attributes. And he's go to be better than Blanc.....

:-D

0-3 now. Fergie made the changes I suggested (!!) but too late IMHO. They are poor - very poor today, but you can bet they'll still be there or thereabouts at the end of the season - unless one of the other "top "tesms puts a run together..............starting in Lahndaan today???

Even Gray and other commentator cannot wn today for Manure.

I'd have preferred it not to have been Chewsea that stuffed them.

Please, please, please, write us off, Glenda.

Yeah, Chelsea aren't a team that I really like. However, they did beat Manure playing some decent football, not defend defend defend and leaving a single striker up front, not mentioning any names, cough, Liverpool.

Pinch me, please! At the final whistle they said, "This will be celebrated at Anfield, Highbury, St James Park and Elland Road". It won't last, but we've waited four years to get mentioned wrt the title race.

Maybe they meant St. James Park, Exeter?

Chelsea did really well, but in truth Man U were hopeless. Taggart looked like a little lost boy - tosser!

It's nice to look forward to the highlights show. :-)

Soccer am had this on this morning. Manure have lost 5 games so far this season:

Bolton Liverpool Arsenal Newcastle Chelsea

first letters spelling.....

;-)

That's quite a coincidence min :)

They need to lose the rest of the games to spell out FABIEN as well of course.

Farnborough - Aston Villa - Blackburn - Isle of Man - East Waltham - Newcastle (again)

More likely to be Fulham Arsenal Blackburn Ipswich Everton Newcastle. Still, I blame the defeats on Fabien Eric Ryan Gary Irwin and Every-other-bu99a-in-their-squad.
