The guys in computer land played hard and lost...I just learned from the news that my server has filed for chapter 14 and may shut down at midnight.I have cable hook up so I will need to find a new server and phoneline and all that crap. I am hopeing it wont happen but just in case it does I wish you all a great holiday season and may your day be peaceful and quiet.. I hope to talk to you all soon...

I am really freaking out trying to save all the stuff I need and my printer is out of ink go figure just another day.

Renee, I had @HOME too, through my local cable company. When they discovered that @HOME was going bankrupt, the cable company set us all up with Pipeline. I just got connected yesterday.

Have you checked with your cable company to see if they have some alternative for you?

Yep still here,well for now.They have offerend another service but from what I understand its throught the phone lines and I do not have an extra{we have 2 numbers running in one line and they say we cant have 3?}.I tried to call but the estimated wait was 47 min.!

I'm sorry, Renee, I read the page and it all seems as non-computerese as possible.

Ironically, I am not able to get a cable connection. I'm glad I hadn't yet discontinued my dial-up (for this very possibility!).
