Pondering

What will journalists do when we finally do manage to win in London? Right now their match previews are pre-written with only the names of potential squad members to change.

What do you mean when? Do I note an air of expectancy and optimism??? I'm resigned to yet another Lahndaan defeat on Saturday.

Well, we have to win there sometime. Note, I did not say it would be anytime soon. ;-))

I think we've picked up 7 points in London out of 69. That of course doesn’t include cup games. Words fail me, if I were Bob I’d be smashing cups off the wall.

... "we're gonna win the morra", come on, make it a mantra>>>

"we're gonna win the morra"

"we're gonna win the morra"

ad nauseum>>>>>>>>>

Nee worries. The Chronic have called in an exorcist who has laid all the spooks to rest, so look out Charlton, it's your turn for it right up.

Apparently, we, also, can help, by rubbing the number 9 on the Shearer photo on page 3. Difficult if you can't get to a Chronic, so just to make sure, with a little encouragement, I'd be prepared to spend the rest of the time between now and kick off, doing proxy rubs for those of us who can't get anywhere near tonight's edition.

Ah'm ahl heart, me.

Mind, the exorcist was a mad keen Mag until we sold Malcolm MacDonald. He now lives on prawn sarnies.

Aye alreet Pit Bill - give it a few rubs for me!! ;o{)

If we do win in London on Saturday as alays the journalists will look for the negatives. They'll work out how many games it was, (27 or something) and deduct from that, that our next win in London will be in 27 games.

Also they'll explain that if we had lost the Carlton game we would have won the Chelsea game cos we were destined to win after x games... If we lose however, we will be written out of the Worthington cup. It was our last chance to turn things round before the Cheslsea game...

PB, won't your wife worry about you rubbing up a photo of Alan Shearer? Anyway, give him a few rubs for me as well. Can't hurt. ;-)

That was a public service information announcement Ciara. Why should my wife object to me showing a bit of social responsibility ?

And anyway, what I get up to in the privacy of my own home is nobody's business but my own. :-))

Actually, I can feel the vibes already, and I've only rubbed it ten times for myself.

Yes. Definitely. Without a doubt. Well and truly right up.

saw a bit on Sky sports aboot some witch who broke the Southampton home curse last weekend? Maybe she'd be up to takin the pox off the lads....

Easy peasy - 27 since win - then 27 since loss.

7 from 69 then 62 from 69.

I believe in sequences
