One thing all of you should be aware of is that viruses are bad and spyware is "badder". Yes there are sites out there that will "clean" your computer of viruses but you will have to violate your computers security to lewt them do it. Many times they will insert spyware when they do this. I am not saying you have anything to hide but it's the principle of the thing. If your in the mood punch in "spyware" on a google search. This is a good site for security-OPTOUT But a google search will open your eyes.

How would you know that spyware has been inserted into your computer?

Go to the site mentioned in my original message. Just double click on the red letters "OPTOUT". They have a list of spyware software files that can be searched for in your computer. Follow this path to find them. Click "start" > click find > click "files and folders" > type the name of the file of the spyware. Make sure the "check all subfolders" box is selected before you click OK and give the application time to search your box. If you find some, just delete them and they're out of there.

Opt-out was picked up by Lavasoft. I mentioned Ad-Aware free software the other day. I run it a few times a week to clean spyware.
