Children

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

Hi, friends:

I have seen more images of children than usual in this site. Most possibly we are getting older ...

This is a contribution to this aging exercise. And this other one is still one more.

Comments wellcome, old friends . . .

Ivan, your first photo of the group of children is very charming, but the second one, with the swings, pleases me more. I like your framing of them, between the trees, with the sea and the moody sky in the background. Wonderful movement there.

May I show off my son too? (sorry, I don't know how to create a link).

Nice shot, but I would like to see bigger copies of it though

Hi, Yuth !

I agree with Bas and think that you could take advantage of the Administration area in this site where Tony has teached us to prepare links.

I think your picture was made with a flash and feel sure that it had looked better without it or with a more natural lighting at least.

Now, of course I know it is only a personal preference: I try not to use a flash ever. But still I think yours is a nice picture because it acutely captured your son's expresion. In fact, may be you couldn't have done it without a flash . . .

But I can't help showing something that couldn't have been done but by "existing light" and had been destroyed by a flash . . .

Thanks for sharing your image, Yuth !

Ivan, Thanks for your comment. However, this shot was made 100% in natural light setting. We were on the 14th floor of our Condo, and my son was looking towards a big window facting Hua Hin Beach. Yuth

This is my first time to create a link ever. Hope it works.

Sorry, I messed it up. Let me try again. here

As a photograph, how can you not be drawn to your own children and are children not beautiful? This shot shows why I love my 21mm. Even when the composition is nothing special, it still catches my eye.

Sorry, I still haven't figured out how to make this appear as a link...

Sorry, it's my dyslexia. I meant to say, "As a photographer...."
