I heard Dick Gephard on the radio today discussing the Administration's stimulus package. First, though, he had high praise for way Bush has conducted the war in Afghanistan (very smart, or maybe just ethical. A great job has been done there). Then he blasted the package, and I agreed with that too. The Republicans really had to work at it, to come up with an approach benefitting working families so little.
