I received a newly published book by Jack Dykinga from Amazon today. Title - Large Format Nature Photography and published by those nice people at Amphoto. Stunning pictures and a good commentary.

I'd like to second the recommendation for Dykinga's "Large Format Nature Photography," which I have had now for a couple of weeks. As a somewhat newbie 4x5 landscape photographer (about 1.3 years of experience), I find the book contains a lot of helpful tips pertaining to equipment and technique - and lots of pretty pictures, too. I've been a fan of Dykinga's work for quite some time now and am pleased that he came out with this book. I highly recommend it - especially for newbie-to-intermediate landscape/nature photographers.

Well, as a soon to be 4X5 owner, I just ordered the book from Amazon.com. Your recommendations along with the great review it received on the Amazon site convinced me I had to have it!
