WE ARE SO DRY. . .

That I can't lock the front door and Sweetie's playroom door won't shut--it's got a piece of plywood in front of it so the cats won't get in (toxic stuff in there!). We're on heavy clay and it's starting to dry out and the house is "moving." Think I'll put the soaker and sprinkler on in a bit.

Humph. I'll send you water, OG. My roof has sprung a leak. Water is dripping inside onto the ceiling in my home office. I had to punch a nail hole up there to drain the water. It's still raining hard, or I'd climb up onto the roof to check the old roof patch. I fear it has worn out. It's a little patch -- about an 8" x 10" piece, fortunately, and should've be too hard to fix.

So dry you spit cotton and fart dust?

That's how we were 'til Thanksgiving weekend. Then we got three inches of rain and twelve inches (officially) of snow.

Yep, try to keep the ground as moist as you can. Shrinkage around foundations is not a good thing. Hope you get some rain soon :)
