Yup i was wondering about this....lets go for the Chandos that DSS suggested just off Charing X road, come out of leicester sq tube and walk down towards St Martins church, it's on the corner there (I think it's Duke Street, opposite the post office)....

What time? i'm thinking of getting there at 12.....anyone else up for that? get yourself along Scratchy, we may be able to pick a ticket up on the day......

The pub is only a 2 minute walk to Charing X where the Charlton trains leave from. I'll continue to see if I can sniff out a ticket for you Scratchy. Seeing as it's a West End boozer it might be an idea not to wear colours. I'll try to get down before 1pm. The Lager may be p*** Gav but if you drank proper beer like a proper Geordie there wouldn't be a problem - they serve a lovely pint of Sam Smith's if I remember rightly :0)

Dave's right, unlike John Smiths, Sam Smiths is a good pint. Might even wear colours (heavily covered for the journey through London). Shame I left that Fulham baseball cap at Craven Cottage.

You can't miss the Chandos. Go to traf Square and look for the National gallery, big building with loads of tourists sitting on the step, look to the right of that building and there is a huge globe on top of the Chandos which says ENO on the side, for the English National Opera.

The Sam Smiths is indeed magic and at £1.58 a pint it will be like drinking in 1987 for you lot
