Do any of you have a creative way to store plastic wrap, foil, etc.?

Mine are just sitting on small plastic shelves under the kitchen sink. Not too creative, but functional. I would like to have one of theose things that attaches to the inside of the cabinet door, but that isn't practical with the type of lay-out of the current cabinets. I say current because I eventually hope to remodel.

No creative ideas here, just tossed in a drawer all together!

I found a rack at a yard sale that had 4 dowls going across and spaced just right. It has the metal teeth attached to a piece of board slightly underneath the dowl. Cling wrap fits at top, thread the wrap through the space between the board and teeth, Wa-La- it tears great. The foil fits next and then come wax paper. The bottom on is spaces slightly lower and paper towels fit here. I keep it in the pantry by the tubs for left overs etc. Great invention. I paid 2.00 for mine, but I have seen them for upwards of 195.00-they must be made of gold!!!

I haven't found the answer to your question, really. But the way I store Waxed paper is related to how I obtain *not buy* it. I save the inside of cereal/cracker boxes and slit open to make a rectangle that I store by wrapping around my rolling pin and put in a drawer. Throw away after it gets gunky and use another freebie!

I simply keep my "wraps" in a drawer in my kitchen since I made sure I had plenty of drawers when we built this house. I do have a junk drawer though however I got divider just for junk drawers to try to keep it organized. Every so often I go through and throw out real junk!!

Hi Cindy, When we bought this old farmhouse it had a metal box thing with four long flaps on the front. Open the flap and you have your plastic wrap, etc. on the spools and there are teeth on the bottom edge to tear it off. Really cool, considering I didn't have a clue what the thing was for about a year! I just figured it was another odd farm thing that I had to figure out some day. Ha ha. It looks old but in good shape.
