I'd say I was one of those mythalogical creatures......the kind that can change to fit the need....like a chameleon. Sometimes I am a sturdy, dependable "horse" that is not afraid of hard work, physical or mental; Sometimes I am a fox that can slyly make my husband "know" HE thought of it! Sometimes I am a golden retriver, as I am loyal, loving, and wouldn't hurt a flea! Sometimes I am a cat, depends on my moods as to what "breed" I am, but if you know "how" to stroke me....I can purrrrrr real loud! Sometimes I am a bird...when I am happy (or scared) I sing.....when I meet new people, I am a chattering magpie! Sometimes I am a bunny, I can hop from one topic to another from one forum to another. Sometimes I am a deer, I can run like the wind if I think someone is hurt or needs help....(and at times, I've perfected that "deer in the headlights" look!!!) Sometimes I am a crab....(My birth sign, as I project this tough, outer shell to strangers, and only when I consider you a friend do you see the soft inner shell that hurts for anyone else feeling pain, and cries when Lassie comes home....every time!!!!)

But mostly I'd say I strive to be an Eagle.....or a Pheniox (sp) the bird that rises out of it's own ashes, because I try to "fly above" the BS that most humanimals generally exhibit, I try to be the best teacher, friend, and "stranger" I can be.....and it seems I am always going through changes and always seem to be better that the "person" I was before. (I was going to say I was a snake....My chinese zodiac sign, because I keep "changing" my "skin"...but I don't like snakes!!!!!)

I am definately NOT the little girl that cried the first day of school, nor am I the girl that dreamed of running away by stealing the horse down the road so I could live in the woods like an Indian. Nor am I the woman that thought life ended after each of the miscarriages I endured. And I not the terrified wife and mother that fled in the middle of the night to a "safe" place....Nor am I the timid "bride" to my husband now.....I'd like to think I am new, and improved, and only getting better every day!
