Anyone have a Singer Sewing Machine Mod. 9032?greenspun.com : LUSENET : Countryside : One Thread |
I need some help. I have misplaced my machine manual in our recent move, and this model is not online at the singer site. My dd took out the bobbin case, and I have not been able to get it to function correctly since that time. Does anyone have the manual for this model who would be willing to send my a copy of the bobbin instructions page, showing the bobbin case area? I am thinking dd lost a small part, or I really don't have a clue as to how it is supposed to function. I would take it to a repair shop, but have been out of work for 3 months and am FLAT broke! Any help would be so appreciated, this is a drop-in bobbin and case as opposed to a side inserted bobbin. Thanks for any help you can give me!

Not sure where in Maine you are but there used to be a Singer store in Lewiston that could get info on any Singer machine. It was on Lisbon St. I am honestly not sure if it is still there as I don't go to that area very often.Hope you find what you need. Renie

I have a Singer 5040C with a drop in bobbin. Would the bobbin case instructions be similar? I can e-mail you the written instructions, if you'd like, or snail mail/fax a copy of the page, although it's not very informative. It looks like the bobbin case is the only piece in that area that you can remove. There is a note, however, that indicates to "turn the handwheel towards you to check to make sure it (the bobbin case) is properly replaced."Let me know if I can help.
Stacy in NY---> who FINALLY finished dd's show jacket from hell (it's gorgeous!)

I am not familiar with this model. If you go to this forum: http://www.sewingworld.com/newsw/frame_discuss.htmand post your question, perhaps you'll find an answer there.
I suggest using the Singer forum -- scroll almost all the way down as it's near the bottom. You do have to register to post there, if I remember correctly.
