What if...By Beckie

Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Ok this is a stretch and I will admit that it is stimulated by my just watching the movie "Left Behind" and doing some research on Stan & Holly Deyo's site about the tribulation and then you add in the articles about Bush being charming.

What if Bush is the anti-christ? The anti-christ is supposed to be charming and Bush is definitely that, he is also much smarter than most give him credit for.

I am presenting this for discussion purposes only - not that at this point I think he is the anti-christ.

Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- All I can say is from the time he started campaigning, I couldn’t stand to look at him. It actually made me feel sick and disgusted. I didn’t really get a feeling that he was evil, more like sarcastic and arrogant. Since he has been sworn in I get that sad feeling looking at him.

Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- That's strange....here's my feelings....every time I see GWbush....I think of MiniMe...from the spy who shagged me.....And when I looked at Gore, I had the feeling you speak of, as if HE was not human.... but I think we sometimes make pre-judgments, even though we try NOT to judge....if they happen to trigger a bad memorie to something else...our brains can reconnect the sytacs and make us form opinions with no reasons or rymes.

A thought that had Dan and I talking last week...what if JFK was brought back to life..(cloned)..we ALL saw HIS FATAL HEAD WOUND Aryannia Registered User Posts: 25 (2/12/01 11:00:53 pm) Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am reading the books in the "Left Behind Series". VERY interesting and definately gets you thinking.

Personally, I don't think GW fits the bill for an anti-Christ. He is charming, BUT I don't see evil in his eyes. Gore on the other hand makes me nervous. Not evil, just nervous, like I am not sure if he believes all he says.

Just my two cents worth, thanks. ZladyOCH Forum Guide Posts: 193 (2/13/01 3:40:10 am)

Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I too am reading the left behind series. Okay beckie lets look at this. First of all the anit-christ is suppose to be exceptionally handsome or beautiful. You will notice i used both terms referring to the fact that we can not be sure if the anti christ will be male or female. The bible having been written by men in a time when woman were subservient.

Now if you look at president Bush I personally would not call him beautiful. Secondly Gore is a dingbat at times in his manner of speech.. he is often ridiculed as well.

My theory is that the antichrist will charm everyone! His/her actions and manner will be perfect for each occasion he/she presents herself.

If Bush or Gore were the antichrist I doubt highly that the election would have taken so long to come to a ending. Now this is all just my own opinion. This is not meant to flame anyone each of us have our own opinions but the thought of either bush or gore having mindless followers just cracks me up. I cant see the rest of the world following bush or for that matter gore. We should have saro start a forum just for topics such as this. Thanks for bringing it up Beckie. Z

You are contributing to the discussion just like I had hoped people would. As you I said, I am not saying Bush is the anit-christ - but what if? What brought it up was my hearing two of the terms applied to the anti-christ in the movie Left Behind, applied to Bush the next day.

I will be the first to admit that I can be taken in - mostly because I tend to trust people too much. However, not usually for long - thank goodness.

My thought with Bush is to be wary of him. Although according to other seers, the anti-christ was born in the middle east and Bush was not.

One other thing, this forum is where we put a lot of things to discuss. If a topic generates a lot of discussion, I am sure Sue would put up a forum for it. I like this discussion. Anyone else see or read the books from the "Left Behind Series"? I am just facinated with the what ifs of the books. If you have read or seen the movie, what do you think? Yarrow Spirit Registered User Posts: 80 (2/15/01 2:32:31 am)

Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Just a question... does the anti-christ have to be a Beckie on the farm Forum Guide Posts: 186 (2/15/01 8:59:28 am Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yarrow,

Ya know, I don't know There have certainly been women in the past that have gotten large groups to follow them, including the men. I think it has always been assumed that it is a man. I would have one nominee if we consider women, but she is way too obvious. SAR01 ezOP Posts: 1827 (2/16/01 1:30:45 am)

ZladyOCH Forum Guide Posts: 208 (2/17/01 2:05:26 Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yarrow I dont think the anti-christ will have to be a man. I am hesitant to trust any politician. Any leader will be suspicious to me. All i know is I hope I am gone before I have to find out the hard way. I hope I am not too late to add my opinion. I personally "feel" the Anti-Christ IS a female. Men who wrote the Bible did indeed think of females as subservant, because our power frightened them. No offense to men, but, that alone would make them want the Anti-Christ to be a man. Hillary??? I think I know for sure who it is. She is known all over the world. She is everywhere you look. She has many followers. She is popular, because she is charming.....Anyone guess yet???? Yep!!! Martha Stewart!!!! Thank you for letting me get off some steam! I don't think Bush is the anti-christ but I do know(I'm not usually one to cry);I watched the innauguration(which I never do) and when they swore him in I cried like a baby and thought o.k. God--here we go. I hate to look at him but don't know why. I guess I'm going to have to read these books you guys keep talking about. SAR01 ezOP Posts: 2555 (3/20/01 11:44:34 pm) Community Supporter

Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hi Curley, want it clear that I don't think it is Bush, and I don't have any "beef" with bush...I just think of a puppet when ever I see him, and think of "sadness" before his term is over. CurlyQ723 Registered User Posts: 12 (3/21/01 12:08:48 am) Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Hello Sue--that's the way I felt while I was crying---very sad--sad for all the people and what they are going to go through. Re: Anti-Christ - What if???? -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- In all seriousness....we are going to have to do some meditation on this and figure out why Bush makes everyone feel the same way!!! His eyes show something, like almost hollow. Puppet, that is a good way of putting it. Who is behind him pulling the strings???...his Daddy???

Good grief!! I have to get going for now... This web site has the information and Kathleen Keating has been a leading proponent against the antichrist .

Here is HIS name Maitreya

I found this thread very interesting because I have not liked Bush either. My mom goes on and on about how glad she is that we have such a god fearing man in office and what a caring wonderful man he is. I just look at her and wonder how two people can see so completly different in the same world. I cannot stand to watch him either, when I do it makes me mad. I feel like he is telling all lies.
