I am doing an ISU for English and poetry is the subject.The questions are simple the biography, writing a poem of your own and a hard one anazling the poem.I chose The Raven by Mr.Poe himself. Is this poem simple to analize?(ie. Simileis, metaphor,etc.) THANKZ

Poe's own analysis is fairly simple, and, interestingly enough, to a large degree false or tongue in cheek. Read his Philosophy of Composition at www.eapoe.org and articles on the Raven at Poe Central linked from that site. Poe is never quite simple even when he tries to be.
