How long do I leave the negatives in the developer.

I am using kodak d-76 developer. I cant find any info about how long i leave the film in the tank to develop the negatives. Can you help me? Susan Bussler

If your using Kodak film, open the box and on the inside it will give you the processing times.

It depends on what type of film you're using. If for instance you're using TMAX 100, then you leave it in for 9 minutes. TMAX 400 is 8 minutes. Tri-X 100 is about 5 1/2 minutes. Also the B&W film container (the cardboard thingie) tells you how long to leave their specific film in the developer for, and at the desired temperature. Hope this helps.
