Hi, I'm using virtual dub and I just cant capture any thing at more than 384x288 , whenever I try I get a message that says: "Error 424: Error: cannot open the video input device". My computer is Pentium II 466 Mhz. my capture card is Pinnacle PCTV (miroMedia), I tried using PICVideo Codec and Huffyuv.

I have had similar problems with my generic Bt848A card. I tried the WDM drivers at:

http://btwincap.sourceforge.net/index.html

These enabled me to capture at higher resolution, but only in black and white, as the drivers are not optimised for my card. I think they will work ok with the Pinnacle PCTV though.
