St. Alanus [Alain] (French, Benedictine abbot, 7th century)
Bl. Bernold of Ottobeuren (Bavarian, Benedictine priest, c. 1050)
St. Katherine of Alexandria (Egyptian, virgin, martyred by beheading c. 310 [but may be apochryphal])
Bl. Conrad of Heisterbach (German, soldier, Cistercian monk, c. 1200)
Bl. Ekbert of Muensterschwarzach (German, Benedictine abbot, d. 1075)
Bl. Elisabeth the Good (German, Franciscan tertiary, virgin, stigmatist, visionary, d. 1420)
St. Erasmus of Antioch (Syrian, martyred)
St. Imma of Karlburg (German, Benedictine abbess, d. 752)
St. Jucunda of Reggio (Italian, virgin, d. 466)
St. Mercury (Cappadocian [Turkish], soldier, tortured and martyred c. 250)
St. Moses of Rome (Italian, priest, martyred c. 251)

In the year 2001, we are also celebrating the Solemnity of Christ the King today.

If you have anything to share about these holy people, please reply now -- biographical episodes, prayers through their intercession, the fact that one is your patron saint -- whatever moves you. If you are interested in one of these saints and want to find out more about him/her, please ask. Information is sometimes available on the Internet.

All you holy men and women, saints of God, pray for us.
God bless you.
John
