Strap for non-lugged camera

greenspun.com : LUSENET : Leica Photography : One Thread

I'm looking for some sort of attachment so I can use a strap with a non-lugged Leica. Sometimes I just don't want to use the ER case. Maybe something that attaches to the tripod mount? Thanks.

Kirk Enterprises makes a strap designed to carry long/heavy lenses that don't come with their own strap lugs. It mounts onto the tripod socket of the lens. the strap's probably too bulky for a M-series Leica, at least for my tastes, but it's worth checking out anyhow. Maybe you'd like it.
