Listening to 5 Live after the match yesterday, they were going on about how the lack of goals yesterday supported the argument for a PL1 and PL2, since the 'better' teams were playing today. With 1 game still to finish (ManU 1 - 0 Arse), let's see how many goals were scored today.....
Leeds 1 - 1 Villa
Ipswich 0 - 0 Boro
Liverpool 1 - 0 MackemsObvious difference.

Correction...Arse 3 - 1 ManU. Maybe they've got a point. ;-)

I would hate having two leagues. That's what makes the Premiership good, when teams like Bolton go to Manure and beat them. Results like Charlton's at Arsenal would never happen, and the league would be boring. A good side needs to be able to beat the lesser teams as well. Anyone can raise their game for the big games, but to consistently beat the Derby Countys and Southamptons of this world is part of winning the league surely.
Add to that the fact that we'd never get a derby game, as we'd be in the lower Premiership and Sunderland would be relegated by then :)
