WOOHOO Linderoth!

I have thought for a long time that Tobias Linderoth should be a perfect replacement for Lee. He is a defensive midfielder with a enormous workrate every game. A truly great player we could get pretty cheap. Heres the rip off from Teamtalk:

Newcastle eyeing Linderoth
Newcastle have been watching Norwegian side Stabaek IF's Swedish international Tobias Linderoth, according to Swedish press reports. The youngster, who has broken into the Swedish international first team this year, just in time for next year's World Cup, has been linked with several big European clubs in the past few months. He told Swedish newspaper Expressen: "I have heard through Norwegian contacts of mine that Newcastle have shown an interest in me, but it could just be another of those rumours. If there had been any contact I would have heard from my agent." The paper claims that Newcastle scout Charlie Woods has studied the midfielder on several occasions, which would suggest that they have more than just a passing interest. Stabaek have well-documented financial problems and need to sell players to balance the books. Linderoth has just one year left on his contract, so the Tippeliga side will be keen to either get him to sign a new deal or sell him on quickly, rather than risk losing him for nothing as a Bosman free transfer. If Newcastle are interested in Linderoth they could face competition from Italian side Bologna, who are said to be on the verge of lodging an official bid for the player.
