Her name will be Skylar so please pray for her and Mom. Thanks You and God Bless Carol

She will be in my prayers for sure! It is good that she is at least 5 pounds, the more they weigh the better. I'm sure everyhting will work out just fine!

Carol, our son was a premie. He had an underdeveloped bronchial tracht which created breathing difficulties. We actually had doctors making house calls because they didn't want us to take him outside in the winter months when he had problems. (I'd only seen house calls in old movies) We sure had some sleepless nights back then wondering if he was going to make it. Well, he did. This "premie" is now 6'- 4", 225 lbs. who in the last three years has been a starting player on two championship football teams, two championship basketball teams and a championship soccer team. I'll pray that Skylar will make it through her early tough times and go on to the same kind of full, healthy life. I know it can happen.

Carol-I will certainly think of Skylar (what a beautiful name!) and your family- you are in my prayers. You might remember I had a premature nephew who was born about a month ago-he spent a week in neonatal intensive care for his immature lungs but he is home now, has gained some weight and doing great!
