Dolly Trolly, and other stuff. [Preachin a mite]

Rainin here this morning but I don't care. AFter the meal of old dead turk yesterday with all the trimmins, I reluctlantly checked my blood sugar this mornin. I just KNEW it would be over 200 from eatin all the punkin pie, noodles, dressing, hot rolls, sweet T etc. I also KNOW that Almighty God has healed me of that dreaded disease of diabetes but still by my foolish human nature----. Blood sugar was 120 this morning! Glory to God---only He can take a foolish old hillbilly and heal him forever, in spite of my weaknesses! He also will forgive sin when we ask Him!

We had a little red headed doll come by last evening. I even got a "big gurl" hug for my efforts regarding construction of a little thingy called the "dolly trolly".

"But Gampa, Barbie can't ride in the dolly trolly! There ain't no seatbelts"!

"Thats ok Maddie Big Gurl Gibson--she won't fall out when you drive slow"!

"But GAmpa, I don't drive my Barbie Jeep slow!"

Now, I've gota figger out how to put seatbelts in the "dolly trolly".

"Calvin! How did ya'll get that GOLD and RED tail"?---maddie. [We'd better not go down that line of questioning right now!]

I'm so thankful for all the blessings we have enjoyed this past year and am lookin forward in anticipation of what and how He will bless us in the coming weeks and months. God is SO good!
